The Residency Office of Student Personnel Services assists families with the enrollment of their children in a Baltimore County Public School. These enrollments may include special transfers, shared domiciles, informal kinship care, and serious family hardship situations.
The Residency Office considers appeals and problems decisions regarding special transfers and withdrawals on behalf of the Executive Director of Academic Services. The Residency Part conducts nonresident special cases involving admission to and/or withdrawal from school.
The Residency Function helps parents sympathise our superintendent's policy and rules 5140 and 5150 which focus on special transfers and nonresident cases respectively. The Residency Office provides leadership and the development, updating, and implementation of organisation-wide training programs regarding residency and enrollment.
PROOF OF RESIDENCY
When registering for enrollment into a Baltimore Canton Public School, proof that the kid is domiciled in Baltimore Canton with a
- Lease, which must include all pages and required signatures.
- Rental agreement with a private political party owner, which must include proof of buying from the landlord.
- Business mail, which must include (iii) three pieces of business postal service within 60 days.
- Photo Identification, which may include a work photo identification or pupil
identification. If you are using a commuter'due south license as photograph identification, the address

The educatee is the child of a Baltimore County Public Schools employee who does not reside in Baltimore County, merely who wishes their child to attend a Baltimore County Public Schools.
SPECIAL PERMISSION TRANSFERS - Students must be enrolled at home school first prior to applying for a special permission transfer application for Class A and Form B. Special Permission Transfer Course A - School of Option (Render application to the school principal.) Breezy HARDSHIP CARE Application to Enroll Student in Breezy Hardship Care (Must be approved by PPW)
The student is living with a caregiver in the absenteeism of the parent; the caregiver is a Baltimore Canton resident who is not a relative and who does not have legal guardianship granted past a court or agency; the parent may be in another state. Informal hardship care may be granted only for the reasons stated in Superintendent'south Rule 5150.
APPEAL Procedure FOR SPECIAL PERMISSION TRANSFER The entreatment must be mailed and filed with the executive director within fifteen ( 15 ) business days of the appointment the awarding is denied. The appeal must include the following:
